The Intro to the Forest Series is part of our MCFC Summer Webinar series on ecologically-based forest management and forest stewardship. It’s a great way to learn the basics of ecological forestry, the unique flora found, and how to appreciate and explore the forest.

Benna is a Registered Herbal Practitioner, with a Diploma of Phytotherapy and a BSc in Wildlife Conservation. She did outreach and research work for the Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute over the course of 5 years, including work with small woodlot owners on sustainable forestry practices and landscape connectivity. She now runs a private herbal clinic and dispensary and teaches herbal workshops through her business Ramblewood Herbals. Benna also works as a moderator at Pacific Rim College Online.
