Winter Adventure at Four Mile Stillwater Trail

Join SOOF, Medway Community Forest Co-op and Annapolis County Recreation for a Winter Adventure at the Four Mile Stillwater Trail!

Angelika and Ashlea will lead a walk through the beautiful mixed forest to learn about the work being done to protect hemlock trees in Kespukwitk. This trail is managed through a partnership with the Medway Community Forest Co-op and the Friends of the Medway Lakes Wilderness Area.

Snowshoes will be available to try out… if there’s snow!

DATE: Sunday, March 8, 2026

TIME: 2:00-4:00 PM (check-in at 1:45 PM)

LOCATION: Four Mile Stillwater Trail (Google Maps)

BRING/WEAR:  Water, snacks, layered clothing, boots or hiking shoes, extra socks, winter gear (hats, scarf, mittens/gloves).    

ACCESSIBILITY: The walk will take place on a trail with uneven terrain in the woods - there will be lots of tree stumps and other natural obstacles.  

FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS:  Our workshops are for humans only - please leave your pets at home!
